Meet Your Guide

I’m an embodiment teacher, nervous system educator, coach and retired doctor, bringing together professional knowledge, lived experience and many years of exploring body-based practices.

My approach is gentle, curious and deeply human. I won’t ask you to push through or try to fix yourself. Instead, we explore what your nervous system may be communicating and what genuinely supports you.

Are you living with persistent health challenges?

Perhaps you experience chronic pain, fatigue, fluctuating energy or a body that can feel unpredictable. You may be living with ME/CFS, fibromyalgia, an autoimmune or inflammatory condition, Long Covid, multiple sclerosis, autonomic dysfunction, POTS, or another condition that affects your everyday capacity.

You may also be neurodivergent, highly sensitive, stressed, overwhelmed, overworked or experiencing burnout.

When difficulties persist, the familiar pathway of receiving treatment and “getting back to normal” may no longer fit. You may have received very little meaningful support or encountered promises of quick fixes and miracle cures that have left you feeling disappointed or let down.

What I offer is a little different.
It is not therapy, although it may feel therapeutic.
It is not medical treatment, although it may offer meaningful support.

It is not a cure, although it may help you understand yourself, reconnect with your body and find gentler ways to live with what is here.

There is nothing to fix and no expectation that you should push through. You are welcome exactly as you are.

The Approach

A gentle, flexible approach to understanding your nervous system, recognising your capacity and meeting yourself with greater awareness, choice and compassion.

Awareness

Notice sensations, patterns, needs and shifts in capacity - without turning awareness into another form of self-monitoring or judgement.

Self-Compassion

Meet your experience with curiosity and kindness, rather than criticism, pressure or the expectation that you should be coping differently.

Education

Develop a clearer understanding of your nervous system, why certain responses arise and how health, environment and life demands can affect your capacity.

Practices

Explore accessible ways of supporting yourself through breath, movement, rest, sound and embodied awareness - always adapted to what feels possible for you.

Practices

There is no single practice that suits every person or every day. These different approaches offer possible ways into awareness, connection and support. We can explore them individually or in combination, always adapting them to your needs and capacity.

Yoga

Accessible, adaptable yoga using movement, stillness and rest - with chair, standing and lying-down options.

Tibetan Practices

Gentle Lu Jong and Tsa Lung practices combining movement, breath and awareness to support embodied connection.

Tai Chi Qigong

Flowing Shibashi movements that can be practised standing or seated, with an emphasis on ease rather than precision.

Meditation

Accessible, embodied meditation practices that welcome movement, changing attention and different ways of being present - without demanding a quiet mind.

Breathwork

Breath awareness, pranayama and guided breath practices shaped around your needs - never forcing the breath or overriding the body.

Sound

Music, voice, vibration and tuning forks can offer another pathway into sensation, expression and embodied awareness.

Dance

Inclusive, facilitated movement inspired by Groove - with no steps to learn, no performance and freedom to move in your own way.

Art

Guided creative exploration using colour, shape and mark-making - with curiosity rather than concern about artistic ability.

Yoga Nidra

Guided practices offering deep rest and gentle inward awareness - with no requirement to relax, remain still or experience the practice in a particular way.

Somatic Inquiry

A curious exploration of sensations, emotions, impulses and patterns in the body - without needing to analyse, explain or uncover a particular story.

Embodiment Exploration

Creative ways to explore your experience through sensation, movement, imagery and expression, developing greater connection with yourself and more choice in how you respond.

Nervous System Regulation

Learn to recognise nervous system responses, shifts in capacity and the impact of different demands - without monitoring, judging or trying to control yourself.
